Long ago, legend has it that the benevolent god Ketzal created a series of majestic temples in the spirit world.
Suddenly, the evil destroyer god Koruptal invaded, and stole untold numbers of hearts—the source of Ketzal's power. These hearts were scattered throughout the land.
With the spirit world in chaos, Ketzal's loyal servant Xolo set out to recruit a group of powerful guardians, capable of retrieving the hearts and restoring peace to the world.
